Queerstories is produced, curated and hosted thanks to financial support from the community provided through crowdfunding platform Patreon.

You can sign up to support Queerstories for as little as $1 per month, with the funds contributing to producing and editing the podcast, marketing costs, storyteller fees, touring costs for regional events and other administrative needs of running such a massive, national project.

Queerstories has an ongoing relationship with the Asylum Seeker Centre, providing free tickets for members of their LGBTQI+ support group. Relationships like this are made possible through Patreon support.

Donors on Patreon receive perks in exchange for their contribution, including exclusive updates, discount codes, giveaways, feedback on creative work, private gigs and more.

Queerstories has also received support from the City of Sydney, through an Arts and Cultural Grant in 2017 and a Creative Fellowship Fund in 2020, The Channel Storytelling Grant in 2018 (now GiveOUT), Create NSW in 2020, and Lesbians Incorporated in 2018 and 2020.
