Maeve is a freelance writer, with a focus on opinion writing and copywriting. She has a keen interest in writing about the pop culture and the arts, feminism and LGBTQI issues.


Her writing has appeared in Sydney Morning Herald, Daily Life, The Guardian, Junkee, ABC, SBS, ArtsHub, Archer Magazine, Audrey Journal, Daily Review and more. She edited the ABC’s Sydney Mardi Gras 40th Anniversary magazine and in 2018 published Queerstories with Hachette Australia, a collection of short stories she edited.


As a copywriter, content strategist and social media manager, Maeve has worked with a variety of clients, utilising her creative writing skills and years of experience in marketing and project management. She has delivered work for Music Australia, National Disability Services, Event Emporium, Slide Lounge, Cate Madill Voice & Speech, The Atticism and Marla House (Gayby Baby).
